How to clip mask text?

outshiner:

Make a new document on Photoshop and write your text on it.

Drag and drop the image you want to clip mask.

Click on the Layers Palette menu (the little triangle in the upper right corner) and choose Create Clipping Mask. OR press alt+ctrl+G

Make sure your text layer is beneath the image.The image layer will look like this after clipping mask is being made.

And there you have it.

After making clipping mask you can move around your image until you are satisfied with the result.
